Give Me Liberty Traveling Exhibit at Belle Grove

About

Give Me Liberty: Virginia & The Forging of a Nation is the signature exhibition of the Virginia America Revolution 250 Commission organized in partnership by the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation and the Virginia Museum of History & Culture.

Belle Grove is hosting the companion traveling exhibit from April 28-June 7. Guests who take a Manor House tour will be able to view the exhibit as part of their tour. They will also learn about Belle Grove's owner, Isaac Hite Jr., and his Revolutionary War service and that of his cousins Abraham, Joseph, and Isaac Bowman.

Visitors who wish only to view "Give Me Liberty" may do so at no charge, subject to the availability of personnel to escort them.

The Give Me Liberty companion book is also available in the Museum Shop for $24.95.

Belle Grove is open Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday, 1-5 p.m. Please note that on Saturday, May 16 and Saturday, May 23, we will be closing at 2 p.m. for private events.
