To commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States and in conjunction with Loudoun Museum's "Life, Liberty, Loudoun: Revolutionary Stories!" exhibit, explore Old Stone Church Cemetery, Union Cemetery, St. James Historic Cemetery, and Leesburg Presbyterian Cemetery in downtown Leesburg and some of the Revolutionary names and stories buried there. While this is not an exhaustive list of Patriots buried in the area, we hope you enjoy learning more about these individuals and their stories utilizing the brochure created by Loudoun Museum.
Please follow the directions given to locate each grave. Please remember some of these cemeteries are still active burial sites, so we ask that you treat these spaces with respect. Please watch your step and use care when navigating through these spaces as the elements over time have impacted the cemeteries in varied ways.
