About

Celebrate the crisp autumn season with 18th-century activities and demonstrations at the Farm at Mount Vernon.

Watch wheat treading demonstrations in George Washington's innovative 16-sided threshing barn and meet Mount Vernon’s farm animals.

Plus, watch demonstrations of cooking, textiles, laundry, and learn how equipment was made in the 18th century, such as fish nets, horseshoes, and soap.

This event is sponsored by Dominion Energy.
