Heritage Skills Workshops: Hand Sewing

Heritage Skills Workshops: Hand Sewing

About

Revisit the past with the "gentle art" of 18th-century hand sewing as you learn how colonial families used the needle as a tool for both survival and political defiance.

Designed as monthly programs for practicing the hands-on artistic, culinary, and practical skills of centuries past, these Heritage Skills Workshops are a great way to spend time with friends (and make new ones!) while gaining handicraft experience. Members of the Louisa Living History Guilds work with participants at all levels of experience!

Adult Ticket: $25 (18+), Student Ticket: $10 (17 and under)
