This lecture, co-hosted by the Chesapeake Bar Association, draws on Marshall's military experiences at Great Bridge, Valley Forge, and other places he traveled, fought, and lived with the Continental Army to develop lessons for lawyers and others today on the relationships among personal character, professional excellence, and patriotism.
