MSV Curator of Collections Nick Powers shares the powerful story of Sarah Strother, who was enslaved at Glen Burnie and in other homes in the 1800s, and her fight for freedom for herself and her child. The presentation also offers a behind-the-scenes look at how MSV staff researched and uncovered Sarah’s story. Registration includes admission to the MSV galleries to view the exhibition Revolutionary Valley, where her story is featured. For ages 18 and older.
