Resolved to Live and Die: The Revolutionary Roots of Southwest Virginia is a Blue Ridge PBS and PBS Appalachia documentary, released in late 2025, detailing Southwest Virginia's crucial role in the American Revolution. The film highlights the 1775 Fincastle Resolutions, a pre-Declaration of Independence document declaring a resolve to die free rather than live as servants to the British Crown, and includes historical reenactments.

This event is proudly presented and sponsored by the Visit Virginia's Blue Ridge, The League of Roanoke Artists, The Grandin Theatre, The Salem Museum & Historical Society, and The Sons of American Revolution - Fincastle Resolutions Chapter.
